Our membership year starts July 1 and runs to June 30. You are invited to join online below or you may download, print, and mail a PDF application.

If you are educator or scholar in Baltic studies, or related areas, please provide the following information:

Academic Background (list degree(s) in American equivalent and in chronological order, earliest degrees first):

US and Canadian Members: Payment may be made by VISA/MasterCard or by check. If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to AABS. We can accept checks drawn on Canadian banks if payable in US Dollars. We also accept International Money Orders denominated in US Dollars. If you chose to print and mail the Application for Membership form, fill it out and send a hard copy by mail to: AABS Executive Office University of Washington Box 353420 Seattle, WA 98195-3420.

Australian Members: Australian members may pay by check in Australian funds directly to the AABS Australasian Committee, c/o Dr Uldis Ozolins, 76 Alexandra Street, Greensborough, Victoria 3088, Australia. Please see the AABS website “Membership” page for current membership rates in Australian dollars. Any credit card charges should be denominated in US dollars and sent to the AABS Executive Office.

AABS no longer accepts membership payments via Swedbank. Membership fees can be paid online via PayPal. We also accept International Money Orders denominated in US Dollars. Student Membership: To qualify for the student rate, students must complete and return the “Student Statement” with their membership application.

Premium Memberships. Premium level memberships (Sponsor and higher) are suggested to members with annual incomes of US $75,000 or more. All amounts over and above the regular membership rates are considered donations and in the United States may be deductible for income tax purposes.

Family Rates. Each spouse is entitled to all privileges of individual membership but only one copy of AABS periodicals will be sent per family.
