Erick Reis Godliauskas Zen published a book based on his PhD research in which he investigates the forms of organization and the relation among the Lithuanian communities rooted in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Olavi Arens (Armstrong University) is currently serving as the President of Southern Slavic Studies, the largest regional affiliate of the Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES). Its next conference will be held at the Univ. of Alabama on March 17-19, 2016.

Darius Furmonavicius (Bradford University, Nottingham) published Lithuania Rejoins Europe in 2015 (Kindle E-book).

Jordan Kuck, former AABS Student Representative, accepted a tenure track position as a new assistant professor of history at West Virginia Wesleyan College after finishing his PhD in history at the University of Tennessee.
