AABS announces a new grant award to support creative projects such as books, films, or exhibits that promote Baltic studies, with a preference for pan-Baltic or comparative topics. The Baumanis Grant is an award made to honor Velta Marija Baumanis of Mount Brydges, Ontario, who left a generous bequest to AABS at the end of her career as an architect. Proposals for the 2016 award of up to $5,000 are due 1 May 2016. Application instructions are available here.
