Flights and Transportation

New Haven is conveniently located between Boston, MA and New York City, NY. Transportation options connect all of these cities. For international visitors, BOS (Boston), JFK (New York), or EWR (Newark, NJ) may be the best option. For domestic visitors, BDL (Hartford, CT) or LGA (New York) may be the best option. Some domestic flights do fly into HVN (New Haven, CT) but service is limited. Please also note that these tend to be on airlines that charge for every part of the travel experience.

Tickets for the Long Island Railroad and Metro North Railroad can be purchased either on the MTA TrainTime app (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) or at the station.
