Donatas Kupčiūnas

Donatas Kupčiūnas (DPhil, University of Oxford) is a Baltic Fellow at the Centre for Geopolitics, University of Cambridge, and a Research Fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge. He has published on the diplomatic history of the Baltic region and his book ‘The Vilnius conflict in European diplomacy, 1919-1923’ is forthcoming with Oxford University Press. His research interests include modern international history, relations between East/Central and Western Europe in the interwar period, geopolitics of the Baltic sea region and contemporary Russian foreign policy. He is currently writing a history of NATO expansion in the Baltic and teaches MPhil courses on different aspects of Baltic geopolitics.
