The Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies (AABS) is pleased to announce a new travel grant and an open application period for that grant.
AABS has a longstanding relationship and history of collaboration with the Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study (SASS). To enhance this collaboration, AABS wishes to organize a joint AABS-SASS panel at the upcoming SASS conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, taking place from April 24-26, 2025.
To that end, AABS is offering a travel grant of $1,000 to an AABS member to participate at the SASS conference.
Proposals need not involve Scandinavian studies. Preference will be given to proposals in Baltic Studies that are suitable for inclusion into a panel at the SASS conference.
Proposals are due on Nov. 22, 2024.
Please submit a proposal abstract and your CV to [email protected].
If you are not already an AABS member, you can sign up now – it only takes a minute!
